When they train, they do 2-a-days . . . 3 hours on the court, drilling and fine-tuning their games and then a break and then back to work in the gym for 2-3 hours generally working out muscle-building routines . . . ususally involving leg and core strength or endurance-building.
During a week when they are playing a tournament . . . much lighter. An hour warm-up prior to the match on playing days and then a 90-minute session on off-days. All of that is dependent on how the player is feeling or if there is an injury they are protecting.
If you like working out . . . terrific schedule, huh?
you have to play at least 5 days a week for about 3 hours if your over 14 and your really serious about it if your under that age play 3 to 4 days a week for 1 hour
