Maybe I am wrong, but somewhere in an article regarding the upgrade, and the problems thereof, I read that as long as I logged into ANY Yahoo product, it would protect my email address.
I have not upgraded, as I am not willing to and know the pitfalls. I want "Classic" back with all of my emails from 9 years, including the attachments, and my "Categories" with their ease of use for multiple receivers, my "Address Book" with all of the information therein (I had lots of extra stuff and had filed the misc items in boxes so that I could find them, and Notepad, with all of the notes therein.

Unless you actually deleted it then just log out of this account then log in to old account.
