Without running to the car to see what clicker I have, I think you have the same clicker I have. Mine works fine for my opener. However, my mother-in-law has a Linear opener too. No matter WHAT I do my remote will not open her door. And, yes, I have tried to teach her opener to recognize my clicker. Her opener can recognize multiple clickers with different codes.

I spoke with Chamberlain and they told me everything they are telling you. Finally after several calls someone looked up and found out that MY opener will not work with THAT Linear opener. Something about a rotating code - whatever that meant.

They told me there's a different model Chamberlain Clicker that DOES work with that opener. I think you've come across the same exact problem I came upon. ME? I tried EVERY possible code setting and nothing worked (on the four switch selector). As for the nine switch selector, I think you can ignore the last two - or four switches, I forgot what they said. But to no avail, it will not work with that Linear opener (I think).
