This is gonna sound a little dumb, but hey a question's a question.
I've noticed on many websites, actually a lot of websites, somewhere on the page it might say something like for example.. Facebook l Edit Profile (I used a lowercase 'L' for that) but what do the websites use for that? Because on the websites it's longer at the top & at the end. How do they do it?

They show how it is done in html for websites here - http://www.netlingo.com/tips/html-code-cheat-sheet...
To make it easier to find what you're looking for just press Ctrl and F on your keyboard (at the same time), type in "vertical bar" and hit enter. This will take you directly to the line showing how it's done.
Vertical Divider Line
I'd have to see an example to know for sure, but my first thoughts are they possibly used a background image and set the CSS "repeat" to vertical.
Probably a special font character. Or, you can make this ( | ) by pressing shift and then the button above your enter key on your keyboard. If this doesn't work, just copy and paste.
Just use a san serif capital I. Vary the thickness by bold or light...
Holy crap, Memster is right! It's right there on the keyboard! Thanks!
