Is a 1998 camaro z28 a fast car?
Is this a good performance sports car is it overall good and fast? Is it better than say a 2001 mustang gt ? Or what is a better car for 7000$ thAt is good performance sports car and low miles

The 1998 Z28 introduced the aluminum LS1 engine. In original condition, the car produced @305 HP and could run a 13 second quarter mile and do 0-60 in arounf 5.0. People dig those Camaros because they're easy to soup up as well. So if you want to build a drag car, it's a great start!

If I'm correct i believe the 98 z28s have lt1 motors and the newer ls1 motors that are in newer muscle cars have more horsepower the lt1 is still very capable of being a fast sports car. It will be slower than newer muscle car obviously but it will still be faster than any ricer that will try to race you =). Personally i prefer the Camaro because everyone has a mustang and i like Chevy better.
