Is a 2000 jeep wrangler 4x4 a good first car?
I know about the short wheel base and center of gravity and that they flip but I would just be driving on the road to school or a friends or the grocery store I know the mpg isn't the best but my job can pay for it and I won't have to pay for the insurance I am also a very safe and good driver so is it a good car and PLEASE no smartass responses

the wrangler is a good car. i have one and it is a 2005 sport. 140,000 and only a new battery. what you have to worry about is who had it prior. lots of people say they maitain a car but only out gas in it. sceck under for any leaks around tranny,trans-fer case and both axles. you may have some issues with u-joints as well. gas mileage is soso and worse with bigger tires and lift. any doubts about problems or un-sure have a mechanic look at it or someone with 4x4 experience.
I myself think no ...or it would depend on what you pay for it if full retail used value then no If you get free or even super cheap then sure why not Its not about the WB or C O G Its about the fact there Big piles of junk A 4X4 will be more costly to fix too and insure i would say be careful only because its 13 years old and you never said if its lifted or has any other mods to it Unless its cheap or free i would say no its not
Yes. I want that as my first car. You would be so lucky to have that in my opinion. It's so sporty. I love that car. Haha.
