My parents dog passed away and my dog was sick as well. We are trying to figure out what could have happend because the vet's cannot figure out why my dog is sick. Let me ask you this, is larva inside dog poop (the poop was soft serve/loose poop) normal? I've never seen it before, but then again I never went outside to inspect poop before. The poop was there for about 24-48 hours and there is larva inside it. Is this normal? The other dog my parents have isn't sick and she pooped around the same time a normal hard poop and no larva there. What do you think? If my parents dog and my dog have some kind of parasite is this something that is normal for the larva to continue to grow within the feces? Help me! Our dogs were together on a Saturday night & Sunday morning. Started acting sick Monday night into Tuesday morning.
Update:Also, the dog wasn't pooping larva.
As I tried to explain above the larva was visible in the poop after 24-48 hours. When I examed the poop around 24-48 hours ago nothing was present, my question is, is it possible for larva to grow like that? or do you think it came after and it's just eating the poop like insects do?

Sounds like the dog ate something in the yard that dogs aren't supposed to eat. There is obviously something in the waste that the parasites like but that your dog is not supposed to be eating. Do you feed her people food? if so, stop. If that doesn't work try switching the dog food she's eating. Also keep in mind that someone may have poisoned the dog.
Are the dog's symptoms similar to those of parvo? It could be parvo, or it could have been poisoned by antifreeze. If the dog has parvo and is an adult she might live and be perfectly immune to it later in life and so will her puppies if she ever has any. If she was poisoned there is nothing that can be done, but I doubt larva would be eating poop from a dog that was poisoned.
If all else fails, get the dog checked for diabetes. I don't know what the symptoms for that would be but that's just a wild guess on my part. If the vet still can't figure out what's wrong with your dog you should consider going to a different one. I honestly don't understand why the vet would not have found the problem by now.
I am a professional Pet-Waste cleanup technician for Pet Butler. If the vet didn't find any parasites, and the dog isn't pooping larva - then it is most likely fly larva you are seeing.
I pickup lots of poop that has fly larva in it - especially during certain times of the year. It's gross, but flies love dog poop as a food source to lay their eggs on.

Go see a vet, if the vet she is at cannot figure it out then go to another one...larva? Never heard nor seen however different types of parasitic worms can cause these symptoms you are talking about. Get second opinion....
Go see a vet. Has the dog continued to poop soft stool and/or parasites? If you haven't gone to the vet, do so. If you have access to some very recent poop, take a sample of it to the vet wihen you go. Your dog could have any kind of parasite among other things. Get it checked out. If he continues to poop soft stool, it could dehydrate. you might want to look at the inside of her mouth. Does it look nice and pink or pale? If it is pale, it could be dehydration, shock, and/or internal bleedning. Good Luck!!n I hope it is an easy fix.
It sounds like your dog has worms. This may or may not be related to why she's acting sick. Bring a poop sample in for the vet to analyze.
DEFINITELY go see a vet immediately. Your most likely has a parasite if it is pooping larvae.
not normal go see a vet,dog could die in worst case senario
