I have a project comparing linear relations due tomorrow. We're supposed to compare 2 companies that we researched through a linear system. I chose the Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox baseball teams.
Here is the data:
Boston Red Sox: t(years) 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005. R(Millions $) 152, 171, 190, 201.
Los Angeles Dodgers: t(years) 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005. R(Millions $) 143, 150, 154, 166.
Do you think this linear system would work good?
Could I draw a line of best fit?
What does the intersection point between the lines mean?
How would I make an equation for each linear relation in the form y=mx+b?
Please help me, explain, or show me what's going on here. Thank you

This is the example for setting up table for Boston Red Sox, so it's easier for you to interpret the data. Do the same for Los Angeles Dodgers. Now, find the best-fit linear line either by program or by using this form y - y1 = m(x - x1) [where m is the slope and (x1,y1) is some point belonging to the set].
