Oh yeah, but if they did that, if would have to be pay-per-view. Maybe they have that - where you can watch the parade just raw as it marches by -- for a fee. I'll take the annoying free one. It's a little too boring for me. I can't watch a parade for long - or I have to be half-asleep or half-dead.
This morning, my niece marched in the Macy's parade, thankfully they were third in the parade, so I only had to hang in there for a couple musical numbers. Is it just me, or are those embarrassing to watch?
Why don't you just fly to New York and see it live, you avid parade watcher, you.
I don't mind the commentators, they've always been a part of this parade. What bugs me is the lackluster interest in the marching bands. Where are they? If I would have known that they were going to show so few marching bands, I would not have watched the parade.
yes, this year i sat my kids down in front of the TV to watch it and they kept complaining because they were missing parts of the parade or people were ruining it from talking. When they get older my husband and I are driving them to NYC, which isn't too far away, to enjoy the parade but right now we think they're a little young for such a crowd (5 kids between ages 7 months to five years)
Sure do....had some friends up there that were going to to the parade and every time they showed someone in the parade it was always talking to the commentators...........guess that's why they get paid the big bucks....haha

i watched the Detoit parade, being a native Michigander i prefered this one.left Michigan in 1971 and never looked back.
Fewer commercials, no lip-syncing, and zero shots of Meredith Viera (sp.?) would improve the parade by a huge degree...
Yep
yeah, i was watching it and i wanted to see the floats, but the commentators kept talking! i loved the hello kitty one!
If they did that no one would go see it because it would be better on TV!
