To start this post off adrenaline and speed run in my family, my brother has a turbo civic si and my dad has a bmw m5. Anyways, its about time i finally get the chance to get a car and my dad said budget is 17,000 or under. i found a ton of cars like genesis coupe and civic si, cars like that for very cheap with low miles, but the only car that really attracts to me is a beautiful mazdaspeed 3 and its amazing 6 speed manual and everything i see in a car, has the black rims with the black grill with white paint and 5% window tints its just really nice. my problem is that my dad doesnt like mazda, he thinks or he says its unreliable and its gonna fall apart after 4 years. is this true?, i also showed him the mazda rx8 he said its very unreliable its a rotory engine and stuff like that, so i dont know what to do or how to convince him

I always had American made cars and I bought my first Mazda in 2011. I have had no problems whatsoever with my car. While it is a CX-7 I went with a friend to test drive a Mazda 3 Speed Turbo hatchback in manual transmission. I loved it!!! All of my American made cars had issues once they hit 50,000 miles. My Mazda has 25,000 and still drives like new. Great cars. Highly recommended. Zoom zoom.
