Memorex TV has no picture?
I've had my tv for a few years now and it's been working fine.Last night I turned it on and it didn't come on and a few seconds later it did but there was no picture, only sound and then the picture came on and then a few seconds later went off again and the tv kept turning itself off and on. I was not touching the remote...it was kinda freaky. Anyways, I do sleep with my tv on every night....could this be the problem? What can I do to fix it?

Memorex = cheap rebrand. Even their tapes were lousy, even in the eighties. "Is it live, or is it Memorex," the slogan used to go, but the company was always crap. Now, they're probably owned by some Chinese company, and their electronics are similiar to store brands, Craig, Jwin, .etc... all ODMed by Chinese companies. Seriously, I'll eat my hat if it's even a lowly Orion! These things are assured to die, and five years is a good life for a TV like this given the crap capacitors used and general lack of care for design.
Basically, I think it should be clear that the solution is to dispose of the set. Why not hit up Craigslist and buy a cheap CRT set. A bedroom-sized 19" should cost $30, and you'll be getting a better set, too, like a Korean-rebrand Panasonic or something else that might actually last a few years.
