my friend has no car insurance..?
he has no car insurance and just hit a car right now. the street was slippery from the rain and the breaks didnt help. what happens when you have no car insurance and you hit someone? help please. im worried.
Update:will he go to jail for driving without insurance? if he does, for how long? hes in the state of florida.

going to be a mess. Hopefully the owner will let him pay cash and not call the police. Otherwise he gets the bill for all the damage and maybe a lost license and fine
Well in most states it is illegal to drive without car insurance, so he could face multiple things, jail time, suspended license, the person he hit could sue him for lots. Tickets are definetly a given!
Damn!!! I hate when that happens! That means that responsible people who do carry insurance eventually over time see an increase in their premiums.
The owner of the other vehicle will have to collect from his own insurance after he pays the deductible.

I work for an insurance company and i am licensed in the state of ohio. If she has no insurance she will lose her drivers license. Most likely it will be suspended. Whoever owns the car will be the one in trouble. So if she owns the car and it is registered to her she will be getting suspended. And will be probably forced to pay for the damage out of pocket. I am sorry for your friend.
Nothing to the irresponsible person with no insurance. The responsible person with insurance will have to pay a deductible and then the insurance company will pay the rest. then the insurance company will jack up the nice guy's insurance rates. Your friend will just continue his merry way.
your friend is screwed. First of all he should not have been driving without insurance. Thanks goodness he didn't kill anyone. Most likely when he does get insurance he will have to pay an arm, leg, couple of finders and 2 toes. I'm not even going to talk about the fines.
