CyberDefender does indeed do business with multiple different web presences, but this is because our product has been licensed to several different distributors, such as MyCleanPC.com. No deception is necessary or intended; it is simply a matter of each distributor adding their own unique spin to the packaging and presentation.
Regarding what was said in Designer Today, Mr. Allen Harkleroad appears to have a faulty notion of how registry cleaning software works. Registry errors result from normal use of your computer -- even just turning the computer on, opening your Internet browser, and moving the mouse will result in registry errors, hence the errors he found on a new computer. Because registry errors occur every single time you use your computer, it is impossible for any software to permanently clean all of the errors so that you never, ever create another registry error after using it.
Think of it this way -- could any mechanic ever give your car such a perfect tuneup that it never, ever breaks down or requires any kind of maintenance ever again? No, because if you continue to use your car, parts of it will continue to burn gas and use oil and wear out and need fixing.
Your computer's registry is no different. If you use it, it will need to be cleaned and reorganized. Any time you use your computer will result in registry errors, which will slow your computer drastically if they are allowed to accumulate. That is why it is so important to clean and reorganize your registry on a regular basis using a registry cleaner software. In many ways, it's exactly like a tuneup for your computer.
Remember how Disk Defragmenter re-starts its disk cleanup if you so much as move the mouse – it’s because moving the mouse creates new errors, and changes the parameters of the task it was commanded to perform. Therefore, it has to start again at the new task it was commanded to perform when you moved the mouse. Cyberdefender’s Registry Cleaner works in a very similar manner.
Also, you can safely discount anything Allen Harkleroad says about Cyberdefender products, or anyone’s products. Mr. Harkleroad is in the business of selling a self-published e-book about how to use negative publicity websites to put pressure on large companies:
In order to sell this publication, every now and then he targets a large corporation in an attempt to get exposure for his e-book. So far he’s done this to Sprint, Facebook, McDonald’s, and Kentucky Fried Chicken, among others. Here he is attacking companies for buying advertising during the TV show 90210:
I got Mycleanpc about 4 months ago. I was getting random problems, computer would just shut down, or the printer would not work. This was random and re-boots would take care of it. I saw the Mycleanpc ad on TV and thought I would give it a try.
I downloaded the free trial, and ran it. It found about 345 errors and problems with my registey. Like many free trials, you need to actually purchase the program if you want it to really do want you want. In the case of Mycleanpc, this was $40 which is about the same as some others I have looked at.
When you try to purchase, it takes you to the Cyberdefender buying page, and it also offers you a deal on buying both the Mycleanpc registry cleaner and the Cyberdefender antivirus software.
Since Mycleanpc comes with a money back guarantee from a NASDAQ company (Cyberdefender), I thought to give it a try.
Once I paid, it took about 15minutes for it to fix up the registry.
After rebooting, the systems seemed to boot a little faster, but I did notice that the printer no would not work at all.
I called their 24 hour computer hotline (nice that they have one) they told me that the printer driver must have been damaged by some malware that was removed. They walked me through how to reinstall the driver, and afterwards the printer worked fine.
Well, 4 months later, my system has not had any problems, doesn’t crash and the printer works great.
This is what I can tell you about Mycleanpc/Cyberdefender – it was good for me.

Nope it's riddled with nasty stuff....you get defrag to clean your PC why the need for extra programmes to clog and slow it down more?
Check out this site

and then i don't think you will want it on your pc.
If you want to clean up your pc
uninstall any programs you don't use or need.
delete any files you don't need (especially music, pics, and movie files)
run disk cleanup or my favorite Ccleaner
then defrag

Ccleaner is safe and does a good job
