so i posted a question earlier about a test i took
i took one on sunday it had a light positive i took another this morning because i was seeing if the line would get darker
it was negative and i have no idea why i forgot but i left it on the counter when i just went back to the bathroom to potty i noticed another faint positive line it had been about 20minutes since i took the test what do you guys think? was it a negative or a positive?
period was due june 21st no sign of it but mild cramping no spotting or anything my last period was may 21st
i am going to retest again this weekend i ordered a some tests online and im going to buy some at the local drug store im just going to get a few different ones they say you can test the first day of your missed period i wanted to know how accurate that was and how many people actually had to wait until a later date to get a positive or is that even possible please let me know
all and any advice is greatly appreciated

I took my first test (first response digital) 1 week before my missed period and it came up negative. Period didn't come, so I took a regular test (again first response) on the day I missed, again negative. My period still didn't come a week later, and I took another (again first response) and that one came up positive. I didn't believe it so I took a digital, and sure enough that came up positive too. :-) Apparently I am a late ovulator.
If it's very early on, it can take the tests a little longer to get a positive, so it is possible the test was an accurate positive. It should still show up within the designated time period, though. On the other hand, there is something called evaporation lines that causes a faint line to appear on the test as the urine evaporates. I would definitely take another test and use the first morning urine for best results. In the meantime, check out http://www.babyhopes.com/articles/falsepositive.ht... for reasons you might get a false positive. Best of luck to you!
