I attack most problems in the same way. First I go head on using "brute force". If that fails I step back and think it over, twisting and turning things, trying to see the problem from as many angles as possible. I talk to people about it, usually more than once, and try to get new angles from them. From there I decide for a new tactic and then I try again. I'm stubborn and I keep on working on it until I solve it. If the problem involves other people then I don't mind being diplomatic... if I fail at getting things my way at first. =)
I'm fairly self confident though I have a few areas where I'm insecure too. I'm rather normal in other words.
