When I live alone for part of every year, I find my 24 hour cycle gets completely messed up.
It starts when I am thinking about bed-time, around 2.a.m. and a really good late-night movie catches my attention. It's not at all rare that there can be two or three of those in a row and I find myself saying, 'Well, who care..? No-one ever comes in until late afternoon, so what if I go to bed at 5.a.m. and sleep til Noon..?
Been doing that a lot lately but when my Lady turns up from California end of September I'll have to shape up and behave 'like a Poi'sen..!'
Sleep. Interesting word. The last time I can remember sleeping 8 straight hours was in May of 1981. Since then it's been hit or miss. I envy you being able to sleep 6 hours.
I have been very fortunate, I needed help to "unclench" and relax enough to sleep. I take two meds, Trazadone and Lorazepam. I sleep usually 6 hours uninterrupted, then after a bathroom visit, sleep for another hour and a half.
I rarely take a nap, usually only if I am having extra severe back pain.

About 7 to 8 hours per night. It depends on how many times I have to toddle off to the toot.

I average about 5 hours of sleep. This week I only got 3 to 4 hours and I'm tired right now.
