This seems like a no brainer but should you use a separate jar of diaper rash cream for each child? I just had my second 12 days ago and hadn't thought about it before now.
i was told even with your own child you should change the tub of cream every 12 weeks as when you apply your skin cells and bubs skin and dirt from under finger nails and infection can get into it and you not even notice, i was told by dermatology at the childrens hospital the best barrier creams to use are the ones in tubes iv since swapped over and found them much more affective

No there is no need to, you could use a clean cotton bud or cotton ball to extract some from the jar if you are worried about cross contamination
I would say as long as you wash your hands before and after you use the jar of cream then you shouldn't need to use a diff one for each child.
