Serious Problem With DirectX..Plz Help!!!?
I dont exactly know since when is the problem...i am unable to play games and it says an error--directx not found or plz install direct x
i installed the latest one directx 9c but still its the same problem...
i opened dxdiag--and there i found the cause of the problem mentioned in the footnote--the file qasf.dll is an old version,which could cause problems..plz reinstall the latest version of directx..
as i hav already mentioned nothing has changed even though i installed it atleast a 100 times but in vain
this is quite a serious problems..wat shud i do...plz help

Do a search for qasf.dll and delete all instances of it. Reinstall direct x.
did you look for a new version of the dll on the net.you should try to replace it.
but before that I'd suggest you
to uninstall direct x
to find the latest drivers of you video card on the web
then to reinstall direct x and see.
If that doesn't work i'd suggest to look in a forum related to your video card and then type "directx" or the dll's name in the "advanced search" of the forum and i would be surprised if you don't find someone with the same problem
have you ever typed "qasf.dll" associated with "direct x" in google ?
