I'd like to, first and foremost, thank everyone in advance for their time.

Now then - I've encountered a slight problem in terms of shoe sizing. You see, in Converse, I am a men's 7/ women's 9. However, according to most size charts online, because my feet are both 9 1/2 inches long, I am technically a size 7.5

This wouldn't be a problem, unless of course I felt more comfortable buying shoes online (as there is a greater variety). Keeping in mind my measurements, I should (emphasis on should) be a size 7.5.

Does Converse just not use standard shoe sizing, or why exactly is there such a huge discrepancy between the supposed "women's 9" and "regular 7.5" that I wear?
