Whats the best subs to put in i was thinking of putting 2 L5's on them or the cvr's. What do ya think?,,.... and also im putting the new appradio from pioneer
For the price of an L5, you can almost get a Sundown SA.
My girlfriend had two CVR 12"s, but she wanted more spl & better sq. We sold the CVR's and bought one SA-12, and she's much happier with it than with the two CVR's.
Kicker is more of a loud sub.It plays higher frequencies good and not so much with the lower freq.DC,Fi,Sundown,SSA,and Soundstream sound great playing low notes and will get loud doing it.
1 make sure the original radio is not incorporated with the body control module because if you take out the radio your truck will not start. ps. i am a auto tech.for the subs depends on how many windows you want to blow out lol.

Basically, the more you're willing to spend, the louder you're going to be. But you won't be disappointed with anything from either of these guys.
