...Well look at it like this...
You would give a RB for 2 WR's. If you do this trade, you can drop Santana Moss.
Anyway, I wouldn't do the trade. That only gives you 4 RB's, and...*Counts*...7 WR's.
Ya know Grant isn't all that bad. It seems that he has brought some sort of a stable position to the table and Farve doesn't need to throw the ball all the time. Also Grant seems to be the fastest one out of the bunch. I don't personally like this trade, and what everybody else says...
You don't need help at WR, just people to get healthy. You have Holt who is starting to heat up, Harrison who once healthy should be fine, Jennings is one of Farve's fav targets, Evans, who when not playing the Pats this week is fine. Curry when a QB is to be had in OAK, should return to form.
The only one I don't like is Moss, but he has been a bust all year.
I say reject the trade.
Good luck!!
You're not that bad off at WR, especially if Harrison comes back. You're REALLY thin at RB, imo, and cannot afford to let a potential fantasy playoff performer go. The Packers face the Raiders, Rams, and Bears come playoff time. Chicago has allowed 8 rushing touchdowns, St Louis 11, and Oakland 13. All three teams allow over 120 yrds per game rushing.
Cotchery has ONE recieving TD on the year (in nine games). Bowe would be a nice addition, but if Harrison comes back, would you replace Harrison, Holt, Evans, or Jennings in your lineup with Bowe? I wouldn't (although I admit I'm more sketpical of the great Brodie Croyle and his career 56.3 QB Rating than your average football fan).
This deal could potentially cripple your team come playoff-time.
absolutely not. you don't have anyone else in your flex spot that will be of any value so your downgrading if you substitute bowe for grant. KC is starting a rookie qb and cotchery is on the jets (enough said) and who knows how him and clemens will mesh. grant will get good yardage each week b/c teams have to game plan for favre, not grant, so this will open up holes for him. terrible trade for you, stick with grant until LJ comes back. also, KJ is injured and you have no backups at rb if you trade grant away.
Yes. All the way. Ryan Grant is a fluke it wont happen more than twice the rest of the season.
I say no, your going to come into some RB problems with Jones injury again. Do this only if you can get another quality RB!!!
Absilutely do it before the guy takes the trade back
Sure you need receiver help.
