I know people are saying this trade is realistic, or bad for the Nuggets, but personally I don't think its realistic because the Lakers would not want to do it.
They get 3 big men and 1 shooting guard in return for a PG, SF, and 2 PFs. Lamar Odom is clearly the player with the most value in the deal, and while Camby is certainly the most valuable player the Lakers would be receiving, they were close to getting him earlier this summer for just Kwame. The Lakers need Odom and would not give him up for Camby, and unproven Nene, and J.R. Smith. Evans comes off the bench for the Lakers (which is what Smith would do) and plays much better defense than Smith.
Basically, the trade is not a good one for either side because then the Nuggets would be left with no big men as well.
I agree that Denver would be an ideal trading partner for the Nuggets, a team that has too many playes committed to big money, long term contracts. It's too much, however, to expect Denver to part with both Nene AND Camby. Please Laker fans, and I count myself as one, when you propose these trades you got to think of them from the other team's prospective. Odom and Farmar (perhaps even Javaris Crittenton) for Nene, with Najera included to make the salaries match makes more sense. The Nuggets are trading a 5 yr. contract (Nene) for a 2yr. contract (Odom). The Nuggets do not lose anything in terms of scoring and rebounding, gain a better passer/free throw shooter in Odom, and still have Camby, Martin, Evans as their bigs. The Lakers get a true PF, and a high energy guy in Najera. In other words, a trade that makes sense for both teams.
on the grounds that i'm nevertheless scarred from the 50 million postseason losses that the Sharks have suffered from a loss of management, the 1st participant i could prefer is Rod Brind'Amour. specific, i understand he's virtually hitting 40 years old, however the guy has been there and executed that with the Canes in triumphing the Cup. He demands admire and that is an extra bonus he will chip in 40-60 factors each season. the 2d participant i could upload could be Duncan Keith of the Hawks. The Sharks protection would desire to apply a guy like Keith along with his offensive prowness, protective wisdom, and actual play altogether. he's likewise performed no fewer than seventy seven video games in his 4 plus seasons for this reason far exhibiting his ironman traits in a mandatory place. the guy is problematical and robust on the two ends and could actual improve the San Jose protection center to between the extra constructive ones in the league.
ok so out of all the people that put these trades up on this site this is by far the most realistic. i dont no who benefits more but its a pretty reasonable trade. to have camby and nene in the post is great for kobe and melo and iverson get odom. not bad not bad, i dont think it would happen but u are thinking like a GM, nice trade.
to add to this, try throwing another team in there, and see what their needs are...then it could work.
It's an 8 player deal. Thanks for screwing the Nuggers you Laker fan. No way in hell would Denver trade Camby and Hilario. Why do you think they signed them. Stop trying to make other teams worse and your team better. Get realistic.
They(Lakers and Nugggets) still won't win a championship in the upcoming season. Maybe if every other team in the West is disqualified. Only then will it be so.

There are salary issues with both sides. NO way the Nuggets will trade away Camby and JR Smith for Lamar and 3 bums.

I think it's an OK trade. The Lakers would definitely make sure Kobe was satying if they pulled that off.
Bad trade for the nuggets because they give up 3 good players and a not so good player for 3 not so god players and a good player.

The Nuggets would never trade Nene AND Camby. Oh and actually that's an eight player trade genius.
