Verb tense consistency help?

I read this somewhere, and I think it's grammatically incorrect because the verb usage is slightly off: "The service they’ve provided our business is the absolute best." Because the present perfect contraction has been used via "they've," the next verb should be a corresponding present perfect participle, "has been," to read as follows: "The service they've provided our business has been the absolute best." Am I right? If not, please explain why.

Update:

I think the poster who says that "has been" implies the service is no longer the best service is misinformed: "Has been" actually means in the past to the present.

I think, with the exception of Justin (the other poster), all of you are also incorrect--I'm seeking a linguist or other expert (like a teacher), please!
