I recorded a video project for my friends for their US HISTORY 1 class. The video is due tomorrow, and we wrapped up the video recordings tonight. Actually, just a little bit ago. Nobody else knows how to edit videos, so I'm stuck with the job. It's a SONY HANDYCAM (DCR-DVD100 NTSC) <-- whatever that means. The camera has a disk in it. I plugged in the USB cord from the camera to the computer. I planned on just being able to copy the videos off of the camera from the F: drive on My Computer. Just like my camera, minus the F: drive. Anyway, a box keeps popping up that says Burn to this, Burn to that, Burn to blahblah. I don't want to burn it anywhere I just need the videos! This projects due tomorrow and the whole group is counting on me! How do I get the videos?!???! PLEASE HELP ME IM DESPERATE. Don't make your answer too complicated please, I'm only 15. thankyouthankyouthankyou please help me.

Take the disc out of the handycam and insert into your computer. You computer should read it like a normal DVD disc. Subsequently, you can use Sony Vega software to edit the footage.
you may need to edit the video on the camera itself, generally you will need to download using firewire cable to an editing program to edit via the computer as the video camera uses a disk not a dv tape.
is it mod or tod video file? just google "jvc mod tod to fce", you'll fix the annoying issue.
