I want to get a Visa Prepaid Card (the ones that you can reload). I want to make this my "cash". I know it costs about $6 to activate but are there any fees to use the card monthly? Are there any fees for the card itself except for the initial $6?
In the end, is it worth it?

Depends entirely on the card and you will have to look at the various options available. Some will charge you for ATM withdrawals, balance checks via ATM, customer service calls, monthly usage fees, etc. Some of these cards are especially egregious in terms of their gouging.
I still think a local credit union, where you can frequently get free checking for only a small balance, is a better (and more flexible) option.
there is not any month-to-month value, basically an activation value that i'm uncertain of the greenback quantity. while the cardboard is out then that is out they are able to't invoice you extra, and you will't bypass over. that is basically like a present card.
