Hello all,
I have a 1992 Camaro RS
I am not trying to be the typical douchbag in the neighborhood that blasts his music at 2AM, I simply want better sound quality out of my system.
So, I have aftermarket speakers already but I'm gonna want to swap them out cause they are old and dried out.
SO, my car has 2 4x6 speakers on the dash pad, and 2 6x9 speakers on the sail panels in the back seat. I was thinking about changing them with the following:
These for the front:

These for the back:

And I had also bought 2 SAS Bazooka BASS TUBE SPEAKERS T52
T52 Specifications:
Woofer Size 5"
Voice Coil Size 1" high power / high temp
Magnet Size 20 oz.
Frequency Response 39-1500Hz
Efficiency 97dB*
Power Handling 6 to 50 watts/channel
T62 Dimensions 18" X 5" X 6"
Weight 19 lbs.
Impedance 4 ohms**
I already have aftermarket HIDs and an aftermarket alarm system running off of the battery terminal (soon im adding fog lights), and have a brand new alternator on the car, installed it myself a few months ago, works great. Battery is also new. Die Hard silver, got it Jan 2013.
So, I have a bunch of questions.
1, how do I figure out what kind of amplifier I will need? I tried google but i couldn't find a straight forward answer. Also, what about a capacitor? and What would be the best gauge wire?
2, would I be alright hooking the rest of this up to the battery that I have already or should I get another battery for all this? and If i do get another battery, does it get hooked up to the alternator as well? or if not, how does that work?
Seriously appreciate all the help i get from you guys. I know enough about working on the mechanical parts of cars, but not so much when it comes to the electrical systems.
thanks again!
Update:Can you explain why you pick what you pick? I want to understand is all.

You didn't say if you had an aftermarket headunit or not, so if not, That's my first recommendation. Something like :

That should power the 4X6 and 6X9's nicely.. As to the bass tubes, a 8 gauge power kit, one pair of rca cables and a small amplifier like:

can easily run 2 small bass tubes. One channel per woofer, or Left + and - to one tube, then right +&- to the other. With 5" tubes, you can set the lfp all of the way up, and be pretty good. That base model Alpine, even has subwoofer volume control, so you can get a little more out put from the tubes when you want.. Seems like a pretty good all around setup if you ask me. A cap would be unnecessary and all shouldn't be a real drain on the battery at all, unless you ran it key off, or without the car running over a long period of time..
Good Luck!!
