I'm sorry if i offended anyone with the labels, but I need the help of the community with this one. I'm trying to write a blog that advocates against stereotypes.

Could y'all tell me what punks, emos, preps, geeks, nerds, urbans, posers and other social statuses stand for or try to accomplish?

For example, and correct me if I'm wrong, but punks hate posers, they feel that the government sucks big time, and they listen to rock music that goes with their beliefs. Emos and Goths are the same (and if not, please tell me the difference) and they find beauty in things that others would normally find grotesque...such as death (could you give me more examples here please)

There is also a stereotype that says that emos and punks can't be Christian. I'd like more information on that too if you'd be willing to help.
