I know this is a strange question, but can someone tell me what your average university student knows, in terms of TV shows, celbs, slang, music ect.? I am...very intelligent. But i am not socially skilled, i would really like to have as much... socail lubrication as possible. i know this isnt a solution but it would be easier to talk to people if i knew what the hell they were talking about.

I'm from London, UK and you would be surprised how much it's like US except we have a better education system and free health care. I'm quite posh and well spoken but a lot of Brits now use a lot of slang words, were not as stuck up and classy as we sound, the good thing about being British is we sound educated :) We listen to regular popular artists like Adele, Jessie J, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Drake, Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber, Robyn, One Direction, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Tinie Tempah, etc... some of us like oldies and rock like The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Def Leppard, U2, Kasabian, Coldplay or Oasis and other British invasion bands. We watch a lot of American shows like Glee but we also watch popular British shows like Skins, Misfits, The Office, I.T. Crowd, Downton Abbey, etc... Our country is more safe than American since we don't have guns. Hmm I don't know what else to say but yeah... the only thing that sucks is the weather isn't all that great but a flight to Spain or somewhere else hot in Europe is usually only 1-3 hours long and to go to France is only 1 hour away on a bus or train. I also admire our history and tourist attractions in UK such as Big Ben, Tower of London, London Eye, House of Parliament, London Bridge, Buckingham Palace, etc... and English people are less judgemental than Americans, we are also more simple and less dramatic.
relies upon what you're making use of it for. a form of midsection schoolers, or person analyzing. For adults i'd elect the two Animal Farm or Transpotting the two very reliable books with the aid of British authors.
