1) I don't "believe in" love. I accept that love exists, for several reasons, one being that I know for a fact that it does.
2) Love *can* be "proven" to exist, not only through the observation of its effects on flat-out massive numbers of people, but by *directly* observing, measuring, recording, and manipulating the actual material biochemical system in the brain upon which it is contingent.
3) Love is an emotion. Emotions are an emergent property called subjective qualia, and their existence can be known for an absolute certainty simply by the act of experiencing them.
4) I don't "deny God" because they can't be proven. I lack a belief in God because there is no evidence whatsoever that they exist. Next time, rather than love, you may want to compare God to, say, goblins or leprechauns or Yoda.
5) In English, you capitalize proper nouns and the first words in sentences. That's it.
So, there's nothing contradictory whatsoever about accepting the fact that love exists and lacking a belief in God. On the contrary, other than one's own existence, subjective qualia are the only things that *can* be known to exist to a degree of absolute certainty, so you couldn't've picked two subjects that were more dissimilar if you tried. Talk about the failure of an argument...

I know that "love" exists for the same reason that I know "depression" or "ecstasy" exist: these are words we use to describe certain emotions. We even know their physical attributes (chemical reactions in the brain). "God" however is not an emotion. It's an allegedly conscious entity with its own sets of demands and powers, which by the way not all monotheists can agree on. And yet, "contradicting" ourselves is what you're accusing atheists of.
Also, I don't "deny God" because "he can't be proved to exist"; I reject the whole notion of theism because I find the concept of deity to be philosophically pointless.
First you need to understand that the only thing I have in common with other atheists is a lack of belief in god(s). Aside from that any two atheists can be as different as any two people in the world.

Also I don't demand proof, only evidence. Proof is what mathematicians do. If you can provide any evidence for a god or gods I will be happy to consider it.
I can personally experience love just like I can experience happiness, anger, sadness, and fear. If I tell someone I love them, chances are they will know exactly what I'm talking about. If you tell me that you feel God, I have no idea what you are talking about because being that God is supposedly an entity unto itself, it would be like saying, "I feel an invisible pink unicorn" or "I feel a flying spaghetti monster". Since none of these things has been demonstrated to exist, I would just think you've been spending too much time with dry erase markers in a poorly ventilated room.
Why would you think love can't be proved? I can **feel** love. I can **experience** love. But I have never felt or experienced God. No matter how many times I pleaded to God for it.

Why do you make allegations without adequate support or information? There is actually objective evidence for the emotion of love. Its in the behavior of people toward those they love, it can be seen as differences in their brain patterns on MRI when they think about or are shown pictures of those they love, and in the increased production of various neurochemicals. Unlike god we can actually encounter real people in the world and experience the emotions of loving them ourselves.

Bad example. If something intangible is universally agreed upon that is evidence in itself of it's existence. A better argument in which to engage an atheist is Moral Objectivity verses Moral Relativism. If you master this argument well, you will find that most atheists who claim to be atheists are actually agnostics or deists. In other words, the problem they have is really with theism.
I experience love on a regular basis. I've never experienced god. That's why I believe in love, but not god - if I experience god then I'll believe in it.
love can be felt and seems real. It could just be a combination of lust and familalrity that seems to be love, but it can also be when you care about someone or something so much that you are sad when it dies, or maybe it is just having comasion. It is like greed or envy or hate, maybe not a real thing, but cleary is based on something real, like feelings.
