just learn to relax and enjoy the vehicle you have - the roads are not a raceway, they are a means of transportation from one place to another, with all kinds of unqualified drivers on them. I can relate to the want for power, as I have driven small 4cyl's and now have a v8 as well, but there is no reason to race unless you have a car that is meant for that. The 4.3 Chevrolet v6 is a good motor - it is a 350 with 2 less cylinders. They last forever. If you try to relax and slow down and still can't stand it - just trade it for a 350 or a 5.3, but stick with Chevrolet, and you will get many miles out of the engines.
It is very hard
It will be much easier and cheaper to go buy a v8 car
Pretty much the rule about engine swaps is if you have to ask, you can't do it
I don't mean any offense but you usually have to replace everything that is in the engine compartment, install stronger front shocks, a transmission for a v8 etc.
Its usually more trouble than its worth, especially on a car as new as that.
If it was a classic, than sure swap the engine (older cars are also easier to work on) but you'd probably end up spending more than your car is worth changing out an engine
only upload a great charger off the internet and you would be pushing greater horsepower than a inventory v8 Charger and greater suitable gas milage than a inventory v8. this could value someplace around $5000 as against an engine exchange for roughly $15,000 with a clean v8 from avert in case you could save your contemporary transmission.
