Birth control problem?
Well I've been on birth control for two years now and i had a annual check up not too long ago, but they failed to send my pills in the mail on time. So i finished my last pack and then i had my period that just ended last sunday. Do you think im still protected even though i havent taken birth control for five days?

No. This has happened to me many times and I've read the pamphlet over and over. You are NOT protected if you stop taking the pill for TWO days. If you haven't taken the pill in over 24 hours you are less protected, and after two days you are not protected at all :(
It's very risky, you're protected for today, but if you don't take the pill tomorrow then it's very risky. The pills you take whilst you're on your period do absolutely nothing at all whatsoever, they're placebo pills to help you remember to take them. :)
