This is his mother coming over and not the boy in question. Don't forbid your mom from making friends. Maybe they have known each other or are working on some project together. You can make it clear to you mom you have no interest at all in the son if asked.

There shouldn't be anything to worry about, it's not like his mom is going to try and force you into a relationship with her son. And when you talk to this guy again just tell him you're not interested in him in that regard.

Just be upfront with him about it... If you dont like him, just tell him exactly that. Dont worry about his emotions, he is the one that put himself out there when he told u he liked you, you arent "obligated" to like him back just because he said it to you.

I would just tell him, Listen i know you said you like me, but i really dont see you like that- and i think its just better off if were friends.

As for the fact his mom is now friends with your mom... Its whatever- just let them be friends, they are adults so it would be un-fair to tell ur mom you dont want her coming over lol... Just go with the flow, and act as if he never said anything. Thats what i would do...

thats not a boy problem. just cuz his mom is coming over doesn't mean he will. you can't stop your mom and his mom from being friends. and even if they are, that doesn't mean you have to 'like' her son and date him.
