Okay, as wierd as this sounds I am a certified bra fit expert, lol, seriously though, i have certificate. anyways, if you measure your ribcage where the band would sit and it says you are 32 around, then measure your bust (the largest part around your breasts) and you get a 33 inch measurment then you are an A cup, if you get a 33 inch measurment, then you are a B cup, 34 inces, you would be a C cup... and so on. Hope this helps, good luck!!
Finding the right size bra can be confusing, so it's always recommended to go to get a professional bra fitting every 6 months or so - Victoria's Secret is a great place to start. What they do is measure under your bust line around your ribcage. This is your band size (ex: 32, 34, 36, etc.). Then, you get measured around the fullest part of your bust. The difference between the 2 measurements is equated to cup size. Generally, if there is a 1 inch difference between the 2 measurements, you are an A cup. If there 2 inches difference between the 2 measurements, you are a B cup. While this is a general guideline, it's always a good idea to be professionally measured and always try bras on before purchasing.
the number, for example 32 is the size going around your body. the cup size is how big your breasts are. if you want to know what size you are the best is to go to the store and try bras on.
For cup size measure bust at its fullest point.Subtract the band size from this number to get your cup size.If you have a 35"bust and 34" band, 35"- 34" is an A cup (34A).Hope that help.
Go to Victoria's Secret, everyone there is really nice and they will measure you, and you don't have to buy a bra there. 32 or other sizes are what you around your bust. They are different things!
32 is the width measurment around your chest, dosent make you an A, it makes your build thin. You can be a 36b or a 24 D. If you were otherwise flat chested but you were heacy, you could be a 44C. and you could be skinny with big breasts and be a 32C

cup sizes: with a tapemeasure:
take the measuements just above your breasts..
now take the measurement just below.
the difference in inches between the two sizes is your cup size.
if it's a 1inch difference, then you are an A cup...
for 2 inches, B cup...
3 inches, C cup
4 inches D cup.
32, 34, 36 etc are the measurements AROUND your ribs, A, B, C, etc is the actual size of your breasts
The best way to know is to be fitted, or to just try some on and see which ones fit the best.
try on some bras for the right size,32 is the inches across your back
Look at victorias secret's website and click on a bra, and it will have measuring directions on it. I think 32 is usually an A.
