A day or two ago. I started getting pain on the left side of my mouth. I had new braces put in the back of my mouth, but that was easily a month ago. I looked in my mouth with a mirror, and on one of my teeth it looks like a brown line. I also have it on another tooth on the right side of my mouth but the line on the right side of my mouth doesn't hurt. When I push my tongue against some of the teeth they hurt. It hurts more on the teeth in the front.

Pain from a cavity is sensitivity to sweets and sometimes to cold things. If you are experiencing pain when pressure is applied to the tooth, it is probably due to the braces. But, to be sure, see your general dentist for an exam.
It's probably braces pain. I used to have little pains in my teeth and it wasn't a cavity. If you are that worried about it you can just go to the dentist and have them look at it.
