If the parents are not registered then no you can not register them with the AKC if that is what you mean by registering them. But if you mean with your town/village etc.. yes b/c then the parents would have no bearing on them. If you would like an AKC Registered pup then you need to make sure both parents are AKC registered. The breeder should have all the paper work on the parents as well litter paper work that he/she will give to each person gettting a pup, you then fill it out pick a name pay the money and send it in.
Was the litter registered? If not, then no. A litter is eligible for registration if it was whelped in the US & territories, and both the sire & dam are AKC-registered and of the same breed.
Take a look at your buyer's contract; does it state anything about the status of the litter, or promise that the dog is eligible for registration? That should give you a better idea of what you're dealing with. (Please tell me you have a contract. Never buy a dog without a contract!)
If the puppy is purebred but sold without papers, you might still be able to enroll in the Indefinite Listing Privilege Program, which would allow you to compete in certain companion & performance events.
It, depends. If the parents are registered & the breeder sent a litter application into the registery. The registry then sends the breeder registration applications for each puppy in the litter. If none of this has happened, then the answer is no.
No reputable registry will register your puppies. (Ex. AKC, CanadianKC) You'd need to get the registration papers from the breeder. Of course, you can always "register" them with a crap registry, but it wouldn't mean anything. (Ex. ContinentalKC, APRI, ACA, etc.) If they're just pets, they do not need to be registered. Having them registered with any old registry won't make them better, and it'd just be a waste of time.
With the AKC? Only if both parents are AKC registered.
With your city or village? Yes, it's the law.
With some other registry like the Continental Kennel Club, ACA, APRI, et cetera? Don't waste your money - the registration papers are only good for housetraining.

Nope, you can't get the yorkie's registered. They are probably being sold unregistered because neither of the parents are, or maybe only one is.
If your interested in getting a registered yorkie puppy, then I would do some research on some great breeders that sell their pups already registered.

Only if the Mom and Dad are registered and the breeder gives you the paper work
Sure you can. Just make sure to try to register at recognised places like the Kennel Club and so on. It's better that way.
Only if their parents were registered.
