I was hit from behind by a car. I was sitting on the right side. They said I had whiplash. I could buy that except a year later I still get horrible headaches. Been getting them for a year straight. If you put 2 fingers at the low base of my head it kills. Then I will not be able to get rid of the head pain. Now the bone in that spot hurt. I just got my hair done last week and the the 2 bones at the bottom of the base of the skull are so killing me. I feel stiff as well. I did get a nerve blook last year. When it was over I felt 100 time worse.
I also get numbness in both my arms and right leg. My husbans thinks maybe I may have nerve damage.
My CT scan didn't show anything at the time is it possible to develop later and need a MRI?

You know there is something wrong, but it's possible that today's medical tests will not reveal what it is. It could be a very, very small disturbance somewhere. Sorry to have to tell you that. However, there is nothing stopping you from trying every test out there to try and figure out what is going on.
The only advantage you have to waiting longer and getting another test is that maybe the area will be even more inflamed than it is now, so you'll be able to see some antibodies built up. MRIs are very different from CT scans and they show you different things. If you want to get an MRI it sounds like a good idea, and there is no reason to wait.
yes it is possible. it could be something that developed after the fact. like it could be a result from the accident. you need to see a doctor if the pain continues. if at all you could have a spinal bone chip and not know it. you should probibly go see a doctor pretty soon. it may be something serious. im not a doctor so i can only tell what it sounds like. my mom is a medical assistant. i learn a bunch from her.
