to reduce his worrying tendencies, you can let him sit by you when you chat or tell him the stuff that you learn from your online friends. that would make him relax a little knowing the stuff that you and your friends discuss.

it is not enough to tell him that you will not fall for guys etc. etc. tell him all the safety things that you do --- like not giving your phone number and address to people you hardly know. give him the concrete things that you are doing for safety...
