I think you should do what you want to do not what your parents want to do otherwise you may become resentful towards them and you will never be happy. I know lots of people who went on dancing through school. They got a dance scholarship and now they are teachers as well as performers. They are very good. I have danced my whole life since I was 3 years old. I am now almost 25 and I still love to dance. I stopped performing a couple of years ago because I am a divorced single mother of 2 kids. But whenever I get the chance I dance! I would definitely say to do what you want to and you can be successful in anything you want to do as long as you have your heart set to it! Dont let anyone tell you otherwise, even your parents! And owning a studio is definitley not just for retired dancers. You can still perform even if you have your own studio. Cuz thats what my friend's do. Go for it cuz it sounds like you will be great! Good Luck with everything and I hope this helps!
Opening a school or studio is a great idea, and you can major in business to get you there. There isn't a lot of demand for dance careers, professional dancers, studio owners, choreographers....if it doesn't work out to own your own studio, you could always coach a high school team or private competitive team, and have another job too.
Since you may have requested for my opinion, I'm going to deliver it. Normally I would not at the groundwork that my existence reviews don't constantly have compatibility good with others meant movements and that, seeing that of detailed beyond parties,I am this sort of terrible position mannequin. Here it's, for what it's valued at. Do no longer, below any occasions, permit just a little Wii play time set your direction and path. I learned, alternatively so much too past due, that the truly global is rather exclusive from the cozy Wii simulation global. People, correctly, don't like being reduce off, crashed into, or or else recognize having banana peels and crap tossed at them as I cruise recklessly down the road like Baby Peach turns out to experience throughout my Mario Cart all-nighters. There also are very indignant police approximately this present day and some thing known as "coverage adjusters" who don't take very kindly to my keenly honed avenue talents.
Own a ballet school. I know the owner of my dance school is happy and extremely successful. Plus she is an awesome teacher, there is a girl who is from my dance school and is going to dance in the American Ballet Company next year.
