Did you experience side effects coming off of depo provera birth control?
I came off my dep shot a week ago. For about 2 weeks Noe my breasts have been very sore & the past few days, lots if stomach cramps, bloating & stomach is herd and pouchy. Is this typical when coming off of depo? And if so how long does it last?
Update:what would you do? switch to the pill or get off of everything?!?

I've been off it for about a month and a half, maybe a little longer. Coming off it I had stomach pain, very bad cramps and sore breasts. The sore breasts and cramps went away after about 1 month, a long time.
I also, still have not gotten a period. I'm now on the pill to regulate my periods but so far not so good!
Your side effects are common and should last about a week or two longer, although maybe not even that long, it's different for every woman. Some women get a period straight away coming off depo, others don't get one for a whole year.
