I always find it funny how some afro/black Latinos say they are not black. Just because they speak Spanish, Portuguese, or French. Or say 'I'm latino" when latino is not even a race.
They are in fact Black, hence the term "Afro," but lots still dont consider themselves Black. There's a skin bleaching epidemic in Jamica and majority of the Caribbean. YouTube it.
I'd post links, but Yahoo is glitchy and always hides my answers when I post links. Just go on YouTube and type in keywords like,"Jamaica bleaching," etc.
As for why the majority of Afro Latinos hate themselves, beats me. Of course they are gonna blame "White oppression," despite Whites being a minority there. These Afro Latinos will eventually need to take responsibility for their own actions if they want to overcome them.
"Black" isn't a race either. It cannot be defined. People can stick whatever labels they like on themselves if labels are necessary. In most of the world people don't care about such labels.

Nope.
They think they're superior because their skin is a little lighter and their hair straighter.
Nobody wants to affiliate with us before God comes to claim us as His own.
