So i've had this pain in the back of my jaw (right below my ear) for the past two weeks.

This morning the pain was gone but I now have a red bump with a tiny white tip on my second to last lower tooth.

The pain from the past two weeks isnt in the same spot as this bump

My mother told me it might be an abscess & i was jsut wondering if it may be that

i looked it up and they are caused by bad hygene.

i take very good care of my teeth and now i am worried

the bump doesnt hurt ... yet.. but looks like it will

is this a dental abscess?
