PLEASE NOTE I have tried all the symptom checkers on the internet and this issue is too complex for those, so please dont suggest that in your answer..
I have lots of symptoms and I feel like I am dying (literally) so I am interested to find out what people think I may have. I have all kinds of tests lined up over the next week (I just had a blood test, having a CAT scan, and checkups with various doctors, endocrinologists etc.)
Symptoms: general feeling of being EXTREMELY tired (like onset of flu, aching muscles, esp in the lower back and the shoulders/neck area - to the extent that I sleep a good nights sleep then go out for 10 mins in the morning and have to come back home for a nap). I also have ear symptoms - my ears feel like I have a sock stuck between them, a fair amount of pressure in my head just behind my ears, and I hear sounds but in a "fuzzy" way (cant hear some low freq sounds like thunder etc - had a hearing test and this was confirmed). My ENT actually did surgery, draining fluid from my ears and putting tubes in my ears, and though this helped a little it was a VERY little, it definitely didnt help with the main problem.. I still have popping noises in my ears and those pops are followed by reduced hearing or enhanced hearing alternately and a feeling of wetness at the entrance to my ears, though the ENT says there is no discharge.. I occasionally feel a little dizzy. I seem to sleep ok, but as I am going to sleep I have that feeling like you are falling out of bed and kind of shock yourself awake - a few times each night.. not sure if that is relevant.. Just prior to the onset of all these symptoms I had a TERRIBLE backache - I could hardly walk for a week - and that was followed by what appeared to be a real flu.. Also recently I had a "boo boo" on my foot that failed to heal and I have had lots of pains in my mouth - as if my teeth were all going to fall out, and also a feeling of having mouth ulcers all over my mouth. Also, prior to the onset of these symptoms I had been feeling a lot more tired than usual for the past three years (since the birth of my second child).. during the first year of this, I had gone to the doctors and had lots of tests and they all came up blank - nothing wrong.. I am hoping this time they find something or I will feel like a hyperchondriac. Please feel free to speculate about what the problem maybe, though I prefer Doctors to give their views if possible.. I have come up with the following possibilities:
Epstein Barr virus
Hodgkins Lymphoma
Myeloma
Lupus
Nasopharyngeal cancer

I'm sorry but I didn't even read any of it and I'll tell you why. You should never try to diagnose anything on a web site simply because many of those sites don't give both sides of the story or problem. They only give vague symptoms that could be anything.
I was 23 when I had my parathyroid removed because of a tumor. It began on my thyroid, wrapped itself around my parathyroid, and half way around my esophagus prohibiting me from sleeping on my back because it would feel like I was being choked. The tumor protruded so it was visible on the outside It didn't bother me at the time and if it wasn't for my friends mother, I would never have gotten it checked out. I began loosing a lot of weight, started getting very fatigued. There are simple tests that can be done to visualize a tumor. I can see your lists of things you came up with. You picked some goodies. I hope you're wrong. I've been there and I know what it's like. so if you have a tumor and the parathyroid is involved, you will not only find out, but eventually you will see it, Just don't wait until that happens. Good luck. Hope you're well.
