Do I need to sign a new contract?

I recently signed a lease contract through a dealership. A week into the lease, the car dealership calls and tells me that they realized they made a mistake and that they needed me to sign a new contract because I was being charged $3.00 extra a month and with signing the new lease I would be saving that. When the lease was brought to my house, I noticed that while they did lower the monthly payment, the amount of miles allowed per terms was about 10,000 less for the lease. Also, the overage charge was more per mile. When I spoke with the dealership, they told me that the contract I had signed before was "worthless" and that I needed to sign a new contract.

Following this, they also told me that if I don't get this squared away, that they would withhold my payment booklet so that I could not make payments, which would hurt my credit score.

Since then, I've had a few other problems with this dealership, but my main question is if I need to (or should) sign a new contract or not? And can they actually withhold my way of paying for the terms I originally agreed to?
