Do Laptops Cause Cancer?
Okay, I am a 15 year old male. I consider myself to be fit, physically, a little underweight. I have been using my laptop on my lap, indirectly (pillow between legs and laptop) for 2 years. When I come home at 4:00 my laptop is on my "lap" indirectly for 6 hours after. This process has been going on for 2 years. My legs don't get hot at all, and I feel no real discomfort. I am asking if the radiation from the laptop might cause harm. The brand of the laptop I use is a "Lenovo X-230 t" if it helps...

No, seriously, you will not get cancer. But having it on your lap for an extended period of time w\may lead to lower sperm production because of the heating of your balls. And before you ask, you will not be able to tell that you are producing less sperm with any type of self examination. Your discharge volume will be about the same, it is just that you are not going to have a lot of guys swimming around. Get a little laptop desk so that you get a little distance between the hard on and the hard drive.
I have not really seen and data to confirm that, only to watch the heating up of the computer while on lap can cause burns, another reason to have it either on something on your lap or have a cooler (which u should anyway to help keep laptop cool, main reason way they break down).

You should try limiting your laptop use more just in case, and do some research on the topic.
Different companies manufacture different laptops with different material, so I guess it's possible ? Very strange to think of, though.
More likely to have health issues related to your inactivity for such an extended time each day.
