I have some books I want to sell, could i sell them to my local library? I live in Lancaster, SC if that matters.
Yes, they buy books, but they buy them from distributors, not from private citizens.
I highly doubt it. They will take donations, but pay you for books? Probably not. They are funded by the public's taxes, they are not retail. The libraries I worked at did not.
They might take a donation, but they probably won't buy them. Look for a used book store if you want to be paid for them.
not usually. you can donate them to the library
If you have their phone number, you could call and check. :)
I would call them and ask.
