If someone sent an email from Alaska to Ohio at say 9am EST, would the time, date stamp on the email reflect the Alaska time which would be 5am, or would come across in eastern time?
It would show the time at the first receiving email server. Alaska may not have one. You can always see the time zone by looking at the full headers.
