for some reason i get the idea that he likes her for him, either that or hes just an extremely jealous dad (but too jealous). i mean she cant even go out any were and shes 16. i mean just yesterday he let her walk around the subdivision but after like a big talk and not 5 min had passed he got in the truck looking for her. He hates all my uncles (his own brothers too) because he thinks there cheking her out. every time shes on the phone with her friends, hes always on the other house phone listening to what she is saying. He doesnt let her use the internet at all because he thinks shes gona be talking to other guys(made her delete her myspace). there was a time when my sister would always scratch my back at night and my dad found out and started assuming we did stuff and now he keeps his door open to make sure she doesnt leave her room. My mom has tried and tried to see if he would change but he has not. What do you guys think about all this???

That is weird your dad sounds like he is very obsessive.It is his only daughter and he doesn't want anybody looking or thinking of her,he needs to go to counseling.
Your mom really needs to do something about this! She needs to talk to your dad.
