When I had my Nissan they screwed me so badly that my then husband had to get on the phone with the manager and request a refund because they charged me for repairs he had just paid to have done the previous oil change. They told me if I didn't have these things done my car would blow up on the highway on the drive home and since they had the keys to my car, I approved the work. When I got home I told them what happened and that my 19.95 oil change was over 300.00. That was the one time in our marriage where he actually came unglued, called them and they refunded the money and gave me a free oil change. However, since the experience was soooooo negative towards females, my then husband would no longer allow me to take my car anywhere for an oil change. It seemed consistent that any time I took my car anywhere for an oil change a mechanic would tell me a story about my car needing unexpected repairs and that my car would blow up on the highway if the repairs were not done. In these events I would tell the mechanic to call my husband and if he said it was o.k. to have the repairs done, I would pay for them. They got mad at that, but they never called him and my car never blew up on the highway. I think most auto mechanics will take advantage of women. No, I wouldn't give them high ratings for service after the sale, but the sales lady we had was wonderful and treated us with respect. I don't think many businesses value customer's these days. If they don't contact you, you can always follow up and see what happened with your complaint.
