If you've had long hair for a while, you won't like it if you go really short. Guys are just as attached to their hair as girls, you'll know when there's a pair of scissors coming towards you. And to look more professional, you can do it with shaggy hair, you just have to try not to look like such a stoner. Good luck

go for something a little shorter, but not too much... keep it natural, something you can comb neatly for interviews or whatever but still fun and easy to take care of.
