I graduated in 1995 with a 2.68 GPA. I know the GPA requirements were raised in 2009 to 2.75. Would I still be able to pledge based on the GPA that was in affect for the year that I graduated?
"Any female who has earned a baccalaureate degree from a college or university, is eligible to apply for membership of an Alumnae Chapter provided that:
the college or university from which she has earned her degree is accredited by an accrediting agency that is recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation;
the female graduated with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale or 1.75 on a 3.0 scale..."
Listed above is the criteria for alumnae (graduate) membership. If you attended a post-baccalaureate degree, the highest degree earned and associated grade point average would be considered along with your other credentials (community service, recommendation letters, etc).
Visit the national website, which has other useful information for women who are seeking membership, make sure you are ACTIVE in public service, and reach out to an alumnae chapter in your area and attend their events/programs and get to know the members. I wish you luck in your pursuit!
you may't be invited for an interview in the journey that your maximum present day degree is under the requirement of two.seventy 5. although, once you receive your graduate degree, you will possibly be able to prepare. So sorry, yet you will no longer make it bypass the screening technique now simply by fact your undergraduate gpa. there is desire for the subsequent line so save you head up and get that degree!
